July and August months favourites

Hello Dolls,

firstly apologies for this post being so late! Ive been trying to take some time out for myself over these past weeks as I've been feeling a bit burnt out. I've had a full two weeks rest and relaxation and I'm feeling much better and back to my former self!

These two weeks have also given me time to find a few gems to write about. After at bit of time to evaluate how things are going in my life I've decided to make some changes. I've found with my current life style I really leave no room to relax and just have me time, and Richard and I have decided we want to save for a mortgage so my spending budget has been cut down. Which means I've had to find new and cheaper alternatives to my usual skin care and beauty products. I must admit i did find this challenge a bit daunting at first. I don't Drink or party so I've always splurged on my beauty essentials, yes I am a product snob and anything I use I try to buy cruelty free. And so the gauntlet was thrown and I up for the challenge!

The first place I decided to look was Superdrug. All of Superdrugs own products are completely cruelty free and having a broad range of products I thought that would be a great place to start.

First products that caught my eye were these B. Ready treats. The Range has four lines dedicated to a different skin type and age. Mine are from the energising range and has a awesome tingle when applied to the skin. I bought a eye serum, face cream, make up remover and facial wipes. These products are ridiculously cheap! they also had special offers on them, products ranged from £2- £7.

I also bought this Original Source shower gel. Im obsessed with Lavender! I had no idea that All Source was a Cruelty free Vegan product, and it was also on offer for £1.50! So I grabbed four!

The Body Shop

Ive been finding that my lips have been getting dry from all the matte and satin finish lipstick I wear and I wanted something rich to put on my lips before I went to bed at night and maybe before I put on my lipstick. Im already a massive fan of The Body Shop aloe facial moisturiser and decided to buy the lip barm too. Im not disappointed at all, I really love this product and take it everywhere with me. It wasn't the consistency i was expecting, its very thick so you only need a tiny bit but its incredibly smooth.

So due to my life style I'm finding that I get fatigued quickly. Unless I go somewhere for relaxation I  never make time for relaxation. Back when I lived in South East Essex I used to practice Yoga for about 3 Months and I began doing classes between 3 and 4 times a week. After moving to London I guess I just got caught up in the London lifestyle and forgot about Yoga for a while. After being signed off I knew I would need a activity to keep me occupied in my spare time, something that would be beneficial to me physically and well as spiritually. And thats when I found Triyoga Studio's.

Triyoga were offering a £20 two week pass to try unlimited classes at any of their studio's for two weeks!

The studios are beautiful, spacious and flooded with natural light. Im a extremely nervous and anxious person so going to a new venue surrounded by new people is a massive thing for me but the staff were amazing and so friendly!

I tried a few classes mostly the open classes for any levels, Yoga, Vinyasa and Restorative so far are my favourite. But I also plan on trying Forest, Ashtanga and Hot Yoga!

I really do recommend these studios if your thinking of trying Yoga, I go to the Soho one in Kingsly Court. But they also have studios in Primrose Hill, Covent Garden, Chelsea and one coming to Camden soon.

Im also currently reading two other books, and I can't put them down!
Im not going to say much about them because i don't want to ruin the plots. Both are equally small books and are very easy reads. If you like a adventure with a bit of a spiritual twist then these are for you! The Tenth Insight is the follow up book from The Celestine Prophecy so if you haven't read that I would recommend reading that first. The Celestine Prophecy was absolutely amazing! and i devoured it in literally four days!

I hope you like the blog post and find its content useful.

Keep smiling
